Dear Parishioner,

As I have previously stated Horeswood Parish now belongs to the New Ross Pastoral Area which consists of the following parishes, New Ross, Cushinstown and Horeswood. In the past ten priests ministered in that area.  When I arrived in Horeswood in 2008 the area was served by seven priests. Currently the number is four, two in New Ross and one  in Cushinstown and Horeswood. By and large we have maintained the same number of weekend Masses, clearly that is no longer sustainable as we go forward.  I have consulted with our Pastoral Council and with the priests of the Pastoral Area and after much discussion and reflection the following has been decided.

In each of the parishes there will be only one Vigil Mass and the times for Horeswood Parish are as follows:

Horeswood Vigil Mass: 6.30pm

Sunday: 10.00am

Ballykelly: Sunday; 11.30am  

The Vigil Mass in New Ross will be celebrated at 5.00pm and in Cushinstown Parish at 7.30pm
